Where the wellbeing of our future generation becomes

the priority.

Our Mission

Daily Mindful Minds is an initiative designed to help schools incorporate daily meditation into classrooms, supporting pupils' well-being, focus, and overall progress. Our vision is for daily meditation to become a routine part of the school day across the UK, embedded in everyday life.

We offer in-person workshops for teachers, equipping them with the tools to understand, deliver, and integrate meditation into their daily schedules.

By providing children with essential skills to regulate emotions, manage stress, and enhance focus and self-awareness, we are supporting not only their learning journey but their transition into adulthood—creating a new generation of mindful, balanced individuals.

Our Story

Daily Mindful Minds was founded in 2024 by Bethan Sennett, a writer, actor, and primary school teacher with over seven years of experience in British schools. Throughout her teaching career, Bethan incorporated meditation into her classes, experiencing first-hand its short and long-term benefits for children.

After stepping away from full-time teaching, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and a 50-hour Meditation Qualification through the Santosha Yoga Institute. In 2023, she launched Warwickshire Women’s Circles to create a sense of community and provide a safe space for women to meditate, self-reflect, and support one another.

Now, she is dedicated to sharing her love for meditation, and the profound impact it has on physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

School Training

We offer staff training in both Primary and Secondary schools to educate teachers on the benefits of meditation, supported by scientific evidence. The training provides teachers with practical tools to guide meditations and support their pupils' well-being journeys.

By joining our initiative, schools can integrate daily meditation practices that help reduce stress, enhance focus, and promote emotional regulation. Just as 'The Daily Mile' has become a positive habit for physical health, I hope 'The Daily Meditation' will become the new well-being practice for schools, fostering a calm and focused learning environment.

Not only will our training benefit students, but it will also help teachers manage their own stress and emotions — something I know first-hand is essential in the teaching profession. By practising meditation, teachers can improve their well-being, fostering a calmer, more focused classroom environment and a balanced daily life for both themselves and their students.

What’s included:

  • Guided meditation for staff
  • Overview of the benefits of meditation, backed by scientific evidence
  • How to lead a simple guided meditation for pupils
  • Guidance on implementing this initiative into your school
  • A guided meditation script for teachers to use with their classes
  • A worksheet with questions to support teachers in implementing the scheme
  • An information sheet about the benefits of meditation for teachers to take away

The Benefits of Meditation

In this case, why would we not want to introduce meditation into children’s lives?

Giving children the tool of meditation is as important as giving them a pen to write, because you are giving them a vital tool to self-regulate, reduce stress, feel calm, increase focus, and have more love and compassion within.
